Description of Euro ISO 7840 hose

The hose Euro ISO 7840 is used for pumping oil at 25 bar for small boats. This hose has excellent thermal properties, withstanding temperatures from -40 ° C minimum, and maximum of up to 100 º C. It is manufactured under the ISO-7840 standard Class 1 and Class 2 which is a brief description below.

ISO-7840: This International Standard specifies general requirements and physical testing of fire resistant hoses for driving gas or mixtures of gasoline and ethanol and diesel, or diesel fuel with mixtures of fatty acid methyl esters (FAME), designed for a working pressure not exceeding 0.34 MPa for hoses of nominal diameter exceeding 10 mm and 0.25 MPa for hoses up to 63 mm internal diameter, designed to craft a length of hull exceeding 24 m. It is applicable to hoses intended for small boats with permanently installed fuel systems. Not applicable to hoses completely located within the niche and aft vessels that are connected directly to an outboard motor.
