Description of  Oxi-Aire hose

The Oxi-Aire is a hose for supply of oxygen and air at 20 bar pressure. This hose withstands temperatures from -10 ° C minimum, and maximum to 50 ° C. The hose is manufactured under the ISO-3821 standard, which is a brief description below:

ISO 3821: This International Standard specifies requirements for rubber hoses (including hoses twin) used in welding, cutting and allied processes. This International Standard specifies requirements for rubber hoses for normal work of 2 MPa (20 bar) and light duty [limited to hoses for a maximum working pressure of 1 MPa (10 bar) and a smaller inside diameter or equal to 6.3 mm]. This International Standard is applicable to hoses which operate at temperatures from -20ºC to + 60°C and used in:
- Gas welding and cutting;
- Arc welding under the protection of an inert or active gas;
- Related to welding and cutting processes, in particular heating, brazing and metallization.
This International Standard is not applicable for thermoplastic hoses or hoses used for for high pressure acetylene [more than 0.15 MPa (1.5 bar)].

Uses of Oxi-Aire hose

The Oxi-Air is a hose for transporting oxygen, for example for welding and cutting with oxy-fuel welding machine (acetylene).

Materials of Oxi-Aire hose

• Interior: The hose is formed of rubber-modified PVC, black.
• Reinforcements: The hose has high tenacity textile reinforcements.
• Exterior: The hose is made of rubber-modified PVC, blue.
